Kurdish protest outside the Greek Embassy in London in 1999 after the capture of kurdish rebel leader Abdulla Ocalan who had been hiding in the Greek embassy in Kenya,before being brought to Turkey to stand trial for terrorism,[promoting separatism and treason. The Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, had been fighting for 14 years for autonomy in Turkey's southeast.
